To solve this problem, a mathematical tool to calculate power characteristics of MBPM was developed in the work. As distinct from the familiar mathematical expressions to determine power characteristics of MBPM, the mathematical tool in the article was developed using a method of physical analogies by means of replacement of a real system of permanent magnets with a winding system with opposite direction currents. This physical transformation is permissible taking into consideration the allowance about the permanence of magnetic conductivity of permanent magnets. Thanks to this physical transformation the mathematical tool becomes significantly simpler and, consequently, more acceptable for analytical calculations. It was presented a comparison of the developed mathematical tool with the experimental investigations of the other authors, whilst the discrepancy between the experimental data and the calculated ones did not exceed 10%, proving the adequacy of the results, obtained in the article.
